Pavel (Pasha) Radetzki is a New York-based visual artist working with public art, sculpture, installation, sound, performance, and writing.

Originally from Palesse marshlands on the Belarus-Ukraine border, he founded radetzki art studiO in Manhattan in 1999 and presented 18 solo exhibitions and participated in international dOCUMENTA_13, Manifesta_11, Manifesta_4, Beijing_798 Biennale, 4th Biennale of Contemporary Art in Moscow...

Radetzki's works are concerned with unity and interdependence of human experience placed within the challenging context of contemporary socio-ecological conditions.

His public art sculpture '¼ wo/man - Lov Couple' was awarded a 2025 Creative Engagement grant by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) supported by NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and is currently exhibited in the Civic Center of Lower Manhattan through August 9th.

Radetzki's critically acclaimed public art LOV Sculpture was exhibited in Union Square Park in Manhattan in 2024.

In 2023, LMCC awarded a Creative Engagement grant for the artist’s public art performances in Federal Plaza and Union Square Park in Manhattan.

Radetzki’s 'Portal Do Sul. Global South' landscape installation, commissioned by Instituto Catiçaba in Brazil, received the Future Art Award from Mozaik Philanthropy in Los Angeles (2022) and CodaWorx Award (MI, 2014).

His 'Spatial Being' series received the ArtsLink Award from CEC International Partners in New York in 2002 and were exhibited at the National Museum of Belarus History.

Radetzki's upcoming large scale metal sculpture 'Pacific O Portal. Sky Gate' is commissioned by Momo Costa art residency and is scheduled to open June 2026 in Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

Over the years, Radetzki produced a series of unique 'field-artworks' which took place at ecologically and socially significant urban and natural sites, often at geographically remote locations - in the Amazonas river estuary, Andean Puna, Great Himalayas, to name a few, and which comprise a special group of works within his oeuvre.

The artist's on-going intergenerational public artworks Love-ego=LOV are fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation For The Arts (2024/25/26) and can receive tax deductible donations at External link opens in new tab or windownyfa.org < to further develop and expand this innovative public art series.
